Kinesiotaping

Hello :)

In this post I want to introduce second type of taping - kinesiotaping. Week ago, I have told you about non-stretch taping.
Kinesiotaping also use tapes, but they are another, so, it's easy to understand, they have another properties.

This tapes:

  • have epidermis (skin) gauge,
  • stretch to 130%-140% rest length
  • are water resistant
  • also has strong, hypoallergenic glue, but in contrast to non-stretch tapes, glue has shape like papillary lines, what's helping with moisture)
To apply, skin also hasn't be wet and greasy.

Indication to use:
  • equalization posture defects,
  • joints instabilities,
  • backs aches and pains,
  • sprains,
  • scars,
  • swellings,
  • hemangiomas,
  • muscular pressure disabilities,
  • injuries in muscles and joints,
  • joints inflammations,
  • and much more...
As you can see, kinesiotaping has more uses than non-stretch taping. And there are only few contraindications:
  • open wounds,
  • hard skin infections.
I think, that kinesiotaping is better than traditional. I use this one, when I have problems with joints or muscles.
That's really worth using!

Taping

Hi

Becouse I told you about nervous and muscular system in last posts, now we could engage topic about methods applied in physioteraphy.
At first, I want tell you about taping.

Taping is type of manual physioteraphy, which uses non-stretch tapes.
Tapes aren't contain any medicament, they influence on skin and muscles.

Properties of tapes:

  • strong, hypoallergenic glue,
  • 100% cotton
To apply tapes, we must make skin dry. It can't be greasy, too.

Indications to use:
  • tendinitis,
  • sprains,
  • joints instability,
  • overstrains,
Contraindications:
  • broad hemangiomas,
  • huge skin wounds,
  • tendons rupture.
To sum up, non-stretch taping is used like a stabilisation and for prophylaxis.

That's all for today, enjoy!

Anatomy - nervous system

Hey,
I'd like to apologise for my absence :x

Today I want introduce you last (I think) post about human anatomy.
Nerves are so important. Becouse of them, animals (also human) could feel pain, cold, heat and touch. Also, nerves let animals use their muscles, what means, that they are responsible for action.
The main task in physioteraphy is work on nerves. Physioteraphist knots or overspreads right nerve, whats gives them information about body's condition.

Here you have photo with nervous system:

Anatomy - bones

Good morning!

I ended in last post discussing about human muscles, so now it's time to begin talking about bones, isn't it?
Bones are important - they are make our skeleton, but in physioteraphy the most important systems are muscular system, nervous system and lymphatic system.
After all, today I'm gonna intoduce you bones system.
Take a look!

Today is 24th December, so I wish you beautiful, happy day.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Anatomy

Hello!

Yesteryday I was talking with my aunt and she gave me leafs with human anatomy. I know, that anatomy is the most important knowledge in physioteraphy, so now I have to learn it - of course, I wouldn't learn everything now, just things, which I have to know at the moment. Structures of limbs, I mean.

Today I'm showing you only muscles, but in the next post I'm going to adjoin something about bones.

On this step I don't really care about names. The most important point is knowledge, how looks muscles system.

See you on Monday!

PS. On next Sunday, my physioteraphist's going to give me leafs with horse anatomy. I will put forward it, when I end talking about human anatomy.

Types of physioteraphy

Hey again,

Today I want to introduce types od physioteraphy.
Physioteraphy is split for manual physioteraphy and this with exctracting fixings.

Manual physioteraphy
Here we are all kinds of massages, rehabilitations, eliminating myalgias (pain of muscles), reparing malfunctions and other things like these.

Physioteraphy with fixings
Physioteraphist use also fixings, for example lasers, facilities for oscillation or facilities for ultrasounds. Each has another action, and physioteraphist has to know how to use particular facilities. Otherwise, he/she can make a irreperable damages.

Today's post wasn't long, but it was only short introduce ;)
