In this post I want to introduce second type of taping - kinesiotaping. Week ago, I have told you about non-stretch taping.
Kinesiotaping also use tapes, but they are another, so, it's easy to understand, they have another properties.
This tapes:
- have epidermis (skin) gauge,
- stretch to 130%-140% rest length
- are water resistant
- also has strong, hypoallergenic glue, but in contrast to non-stretch tapes, glue has shape like papillary lines, what's helping with moisture)
To apply, skin also hasn't be wet and greasy.
Indication to use:
- equalization posture defects,
- joints instabilities,
- backs aches and pains,
- sprains,
- scars,
- swellings,
- hemangiomas,
- muscular pressure disabilities,
- injuries in muscles and joints,
- joints inflammations,
- and much more...
As you can see, kinesiotaping has more uses than non-stretch taping. And there are only few contraindications:
- open wounds,
- hard skin infections.
I think, that kinesiotaping is better than traditional. I use this one, when I have problems with joints or muscles.
That's really worth using!
